Have more doctors surgeries in telford

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

Houses being thrown up left right and centre, hard enough as it is to get a doctors appointment, we need bigger surgeries or new ones built to meet the high demand
I can never get an appointment as it is at my doctors and with all new houses being built in my area surely it’s going to be harder with everyone signing up for the same one. my friend lives in smethwick and she gets an appointment same day allllll the time and here i am giving up with the doctors in my area because i’m 20th in the cue and just get told call back at 8.30am something needs to be done!!

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about the commissioning of GP services in particular areas are a matter for your local integrated care board, not the UK Government or Parliament.

We could accept a petition calling on the Government to provide funding to increase the number of GP surgeries across the country, if that's something you'd like to happen.
