Commission a review of all Police Forces in England and Wales

What the petition asks
Commission a review of all Police Forces in England and Wales, similar to that of Baroness Casey’s review into the Metropolitan Police. The review should look at whether there are sufficient safeguards in place to protect the public from police officers suspected of wrongdoing or criminal offences.
As further information comes out about the extent of corruption, racism, misogyny and homophobia within the Metropolitan Police, it would be unreasonable to assume that this is solely confined to London.
A review of all Police Forces in England and Wales can establish if similar problems exist in other police forces, and make recommendations to protect the public from police officers suspected of wrongdoing or criminal offences.
This could include preventing police officers from serving in public facing roles if they have been accused of a criminal offence or wrongdoing until an independent body has concluded their investigation into whether the claims are valid.
