Ban under 18s being stopped and searched without parental consent

What the petition asks
We would like the Government to ban police from stopping and searching young people without the consent of a parent. This means that police officers will not be able to stop and search people under the age of 18 without parental consent.
We would like Government to do this in order to protect the mental health of young people. It could also help restore trust back into police officers by ensuring that young people do not feel targeted or vulnerable when interacting with police.
