MPs to only use the NHS, as they are responsible for maintaining the NHS

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

To prove the NHS is fit for purpose by committing to use only the NHS.
MPs committing to only use the NHS will should they have faith in the NHS and the public can too

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about whether to receive healthcare through the NHS or privately are a matter for every individual, including MPs, not the UK Government or Parliament.
