Remove additional work restrictions for those on visas

What the petition asks
The cost of living crisis is upon us: inflation continues and the Bank of England has recently increased base rate to 4.25%. The effects of these for food and rental costs are obvious and everyone feels it. However, immigrants are especially disadvantaged because of restrictions on additional work.
Families can help themselves in the ongoing cost of living crisis by reducing expenses and or increasing their income through additional work. Immigrant families are disproportionally affected because their visa restricts the type of additional work and/or the number of additional hours they can do. In addition, they are ineligible to seek public funds. I am therefore requesting the Government remove these restrictions to allow immigrant families to do any additional work which can help them get by in these challenging times.
