London Underground to Hampstead Heath Station for workers at Royal Free Hospital
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
TfL to add underground trains (Northern/Jubilee) to Hampstead Heath station.Essential workers at Royal Free Hospital cannot rely on overground for shifts as it is unreliable outside of typical hours (e.g. evenings/nights/dawn). Hampstead Heath is a popular area and should have better links.
The use of public transport should be facilitated and encouraged for everyone particularly essential workers at the Royal Free who work atypical hours with difficult night commutes. Particularly in a central and congested area like Hampstead Heath, car use should be discouraged - particularly with new ULEZ. Hampstead Heath station should be added to the Underground network as it is a well-located and popular area as well as a key station for hospital workers.
