Bring back the Kept Animals Bill and add provisions to regulate online sales

Closed 4,725 signatures

What the petition asks

Set a date for the next stage of consideration of the Animal Welfare (Kept Animals) Bill, and add provisions to regulate online sales of animals.
This legislation is so important for the welfare of not only animals but also people.

Set a date for further consideration of the Animal Welfare (Kept Animals) Bill, which included provisions to ban the export of live animals for slaughter and fattening, restrictions on the number of certain animals (dogs, cats and ferrets) that can be imported on a non-commercial basis in a single motor vehicle. Also add provisions to implement 'Reggie's law', to regulate online sales of animals.

This Bill means so much to the UK and its people. I urge the Government to set a date for progressing this Bill.
