Require retailers list delivery partner for online orders

What the petition asks
UK retailers currently are not required to list who their delivery partner/courier is for online purchases before you purchase an item. We believe the Government should make this a requirement for all online sales.
Too many parcels are lost/stolen/delayed due to sub-standard delivery/courier services. Consumers have the right to be able to avoid companies that choose to use companies/couriers that are known to be poor performers. You cannot do this currently as you don't always know which company will deliver your item.
This could help reduce the number of stolen/lost/delayed items and so the number of replacement orders, the number of vehicles on the road, and costs to businesses.
