What the petition asks
I want to change the way people, and especially boys, think about ballet, and make ballet accessible and inclusive for everyone.
I would like the Government to add ballet to the national curriculum for primary schools, so that all schools have to teach this.
The main reasons I want this to happen are:
1. Teaching everyone ballet this should reduce the risk of individuals who want to learn ballet being bullied.
2. Ballet can help teach discipline encourage physical fitness.
3. Ballet could support progress in other subjects (music, PE, art and drama).
4. Putting ballet on the national curriculum would make it accessible and inclusive for everyone, no matter your background or ability.
