What the petition asks
Hold a full UK wide referendum on the Netzero time line, slow it down for science/ inventions to catch up.
All political parties are making a mandatory to do by date by law, this is not democracy if there is no choice.

The pace expected for netzero is economic suicide. Extremely devastating to peoples lives. No real plan on how its even possible to achieve. No infrastructure to support it.
While having no impact on global CO2 levels as UK is responsible for 2%.
Why make our own people suffer for a virtu signaling endeavour.
Not staying we don't keep inventing new technologies to support a economical viable and better zero carbon future footprint.
