Introduce new pay and benefit entitlements for food delivery drivers

What the petition asks
The cost of living has increased substantially in recent months, but some food delivery companies have reduced payments for their drivers, and food delivery drivers also have limited entitlements to benefits. Food delivery drivers are important workers and the Government should protect them.
To be able to earn a living many food delivery drivers are working 10-14 hours a day. We believe this is unfair.
We want the Government to introduce a minimum wage or rate of payment per mile, and also require companies that drivers work for to provide benefits to their staff (such as sick and holiday pay).
