Make pepper spray legal to own
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
Pepper spray is an irritant spray used for self-defence. It is, however, illegal to own pepper spray in the UK. This must be changed.
Following an unacceptable increase in sexual crimes against women and children, it is clear to me that they are unsafe anywhere in the country. This must change. By carrying pepper spray, women and children will be able to feel safe again, as is their right.
