Ensure fair grading for GCSE and A Level students in 2023 due to strikes

What the petition asks
We want the Government to work with Ofqual to ensure that students sitting exams in 2023 are given special consideration, such as additional marks or leniency with grade boundaries, where they have lost teaching time due to strikes.
Strikes have caused a significant loss of teaching time shortly before exams. Many teachers have had to skip vital revision or exam technique lessons in order to cover course content in the remaining time.
The amount and timing of strikes varies between state and independent schools and by region, leading to significant inequalities. Special consideration would ensure that no student is disadvantaged by industrial action out of their control.
