Require integrated care systems to have a specialist allergy nurse and dietician

What the petition asks
Accessing the right clinical care to support allergic conditions can be difficult and it is vital this is improved to save lives. I have personal experience of struggling to access adequate advice and support regarding allergies.
1/3 of the UK lives with allergies. 8% of GP consultations relate to allergies. GPs can have inadequate knowledge on allergy resulting in delays and incomplete clinical information. The newly formed NHS England ICSs are now responsible for commissioning allergy services. This presents an opportunity to design allergy services that are more effective and timely for patients whilst being more efficient to the NHS. Introducing a specialist allergy nurse and dietician within each ICS delivers this.
