Petition · past parliament

Put an end to the rising level of miscarriages of justice cases in the UK!

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

We want the government to make the justice system more thorough and fair to ensure that no wrongful imprisonments take place.
It is unfair and unlawful for the law to steal years away from someones life who hasn't even committed the crime, hence by enforcing more better judges and lawyers, review cases again, provide enough money, they would be a decrease in the amount of cases.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about miscarriages of justice, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
