resurface the moss road, millisle, northern ireland!!

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

i plead with the government to do something about the shocking potholes on the moss road, particularly the ones outside the millview vending machines.
a single pothole, which has been lightly marked out in pale white spray paint (barely visible) has caused 8 people to burst their tyres in the last 3 days, including myself. my driver’s side alloy was completely bent and my steering rack, my suspension spring and drive shaft needs checked and steering needs realigned. it has the potential to cause a serious accident with it’s position in the road. this is ridiculous and the government needs to do something for once!

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Road maintanance in Northern Ireland is a matter for DfI Roads, the Road Authority in Northern Ireland, not the UK Government or Parliament.

If you want to raise this issue you could contact your MLA, or raise it with the Northern Ireland Executive.
