Make all U.K. GP’s resume full services to pre-Covid levels

What the petition asks
GP’s all over the U.K. are still using the Covid pandemic as an excuse not to resume daily routine face to face appointments. The government should be forcing all U.K. GP surgeries to resume full normal services and reduce salaries of NHS GP’s who refuse to comply with immediate effect.
People all throughout the U.K. are suffering serious health implications due to GP’s not resuming face to face appointments at pre-Covid levels. People are being forced to attend local A&E departments and still aren’t receiving the medical help they need due to being told they need to see their GP to arrange further tests, even though they can’t get an appt as their GP’s are only offering very limited face to face appts and a limited number of telephone appointments. This is not acceptable.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about how to offer GP services are a matter for individual GPs, not the UK Government or Parliament.
