What the petition asks
There is a global decline in pollinator populations because human activity is destroying their habitats. To help the pollinators survive better, we want the Government to ban local authorities from mowing adopted public verges and meadows from May to July.
Sir David Attenborough made an appeal in the support of No Mow May: https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1766101/david-attenborough-no-mow-may
Local authorities that violate this ban should face financial penalties.
