Make it mandatory for schools to have to have a school crossing outside
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
I want the government to consider making a crossing outside of all school as it should be mandatory for them to have a safe crossing for children to be able to get to there next location after school with higher safety protocols
Children are clumsy they can be very different around there friends and do silly things near the road that is why all schools should make it mandatory for them to have a safe crossing zone or another means of them crossing roads safely
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about where to install crossings on local roads are a matter for individual local authorities, not the UK Government or Parliament.
