Stop network rail felling 13 million trees & make them replant the same amount

What the petition asks
We support the efficient running of trains, but this is completely irresponsible when we have little time to tackle climate change, & can't wait 100 yrs for trees to grow back. This is short sighted cost cutting. Being a major carbon sink & wildlife habitat this needs urgent reconsideration.
Because local councils, the media, MP's and network rail are paying no interest at all to this ecocide that will result in a faster demise of the human race
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
Network Rail has not announced plans to fell 13 million trees, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
