National Railway operators provide concessions in peak hours for Commuters

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

ask train operators to reduce train prices to help Commuters travel more affordable
Peak hours train ticket used to be unaffordable
Passengers need to pay double or more prices which is very difficult for some people who rely on railways services to work, especially to and from London

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about the cost of train travel during peak periods, but we're not sure if you want the Government to require train operators to reduce train fares during peak periods for all customers, or just to create discounts for people who commute during peak periods for work.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
