Food delivery companies has become the easiest option for ilegal workers to earn money, this people not only don’t have to the right to work in UK, they also do not pay the lawful taxes.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about people working illegally, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

Employers are already legally required to check that a job applicant is allowed to work for you in the UK before you employ them, and it's not clear what else you want the Government to do.

You can contact the Home Office if you think someone is living or working in the UK illegally, or employing someone who isn’t allowed to work in the UK: https://www.gov.uk/report-immigration-crime
