What the petition asks

standing charge for electric & gas needs reducing to a sensible amount for everyone to afford, this could also mean the benefits paid to some users be reduced,saving more money

we should all have access to heating & hot water without having to worry, i appreciate gas prices soared because of Russia, but this did not cause standing charge to rise, this was partly due to companies that went bust , which was not UK populations fault
