What the petition asks
To honour the 2% Non Consolidated payment for 2022 - 2023 to all healthcare professionals who are working from agenda for change contracts but are not directly attached to a trust. This includes community nurses and 111 call centre staff.
As a community healthcare nurse we wear several different hats. Our training is in forefront of our mind as we are not aware what we will be presented with when going into a patients home. We, as with hospital staff worked with patients throughout the pandemic including when they were at the end of there life.
We feel the government has forgotten about the key work healthcare professionals do and this shows having being excluded from the 2% payrise, regardless of the being on an AFC contract.
