Repeal the Climate Change Act 2008

What the petition asks
We want the Government to repeal this Act and all associated regulation. The prosperity of this country has been built on abundant and reliable hydrocarbon energy.
The Climate Change Act requires the UK Government to ensure the UK reduces its greenhouse gas emissions by 100% from 1990 levels by 2050.
We believe this target is unrealistic, and that trying to achieve it will put an unnecessary financial burden on the UK, and its citizens.
