Introduce mandatory driving assessments for 70 year olds and over

What the petition asks
Pass a law that requires anyone with a driving licence who is 70 years old or older to take a driving assessment in order to continue to be able to drive. Their ability to drive safely, their spatial awareness and their reaction times to break if needed to stop in an emergency.
As a car park attendant, I witness many older people driving in a dangerous manner, including driving into curbs and parked cars.
A mandatory driving assessment for driving licence holders aged 70 and over would ensure that older drivers are still safe to drive.
