What the petition asks
Exempt Autistic and Neurodivergent people from the bedroom tax so they can have accommodation that better suits their needs.
Due to the bedroom tax and lack of suitable housing many noise sensitive Autistic and Neurodivergent people who live alone have no chose but to live in one bedroom flats which may not be sound proof. This can lead to distress and anxiety when other residents, who live above or below go about their day lives. If Neurodivergent people are Exempt from this they could live in available two bedroom houses that better suit there needs. If there is no one bedroom options available.
