Prosecute for wildlife crime
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
Enforce Railway stations and businesses to adhere to maintaining a high standard of pigeon deterrent netting, preferably grids to prevent birds becoming trapped and entangled.
Wildlife organisations are contacted daily to try and rescue birds, but are prevented from rescuing the bird by staff under the guise of Health & Safety
The Fire Brigade will often not attend for a pigeon.
These intelligent, harmless birds are left to die slow painful deaths.
There are no measures in place to protect them.
There are no laws in place to ensure netting is safe and well maintained.
There are no humane solutions in place.
This needs to change.
