End the process of former Prime Ministers producing Resignation Honours lists

What the petition asks
End the process of granting honours to those nominated by former Prime Ministers.
Recently, Boris Johnson and Liz Truss were rejected by their party after a period of very poor performance.
Honours should not be given by any former Prime Minister, but especially not those resigning due to poor performance or negatively impacting British citizens.
Also, some of those recently nominated show nepotism and cronyism rather than being honoured for service to the country. This de-values those honoured for more dedicated service.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The submission of nominations for honours and appointments by outgoing Prime Minister's is a convention, and the Government and Parliament cannot prevent outgoing Prime Minister's from submitting such nominations.
