Urge Japan not to discharge Fukushima treated water

What the petition asks
The UK Government should urge Japan to abandon its plan to release Fukushima treated water into the Pacific.
Although scientists argue that the elements remaining in the water are only harmful to humans in large doses and with dilution the treated water poses no scientifically detectable risk, I believe our Government should take a precautionary approach.
The UK and British people have the responsibility and to try and urge Japan not to do this and to look for an alternative solution instead. They Government must stand up for health of the people and the environment.
