Do not issue guidance making it unsafe for school students to question gender

What the petition asks
According to media reports, the Government plans to publish guidance that would tell schools to ban students who wish to change their pronouns from competitive sport, and to inform parents about students questioning their gender identity.
Parents would reportedly have to give consent before the student's gender identity could be respected at school, and this could be vetoed by a head deciding it'll have "mental effects" on other students, regardless of what the parents say.
Even under Section 28, gay students could be gay at school without fear of being outed.
Gender-questioning students could have transphobic parents. Or another student could claim "mental effects" as part of a bullying campaign.
This could result in direct endangerment of children.
