Increased funding for the arts, music, culture department in Newcastle.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

To look towards the potential of Newcastle's arts, music and culture and believe in the community involved in it. Allow that community not to worry if they will survive the year. Show them that their contribution isn't taken for granted and the local government recognises the value of the industry.
As we look towards the future of Newcastle, it is vital to recognize the immense value that the arts and music industries can bring to our city. It has the power to bring people together, foster creativity, and inspire innovation. They can drive economic growth by creating jobs, attracting tourism, and generating revenue for local businesses. Therefore, Newcastle needs to invest in these industries because without it then, Newcastle would lose such an important part of its future.
