Enforce Permit Holder Parking

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

I wish for permit holder parking to be enforced on Beech Road, L36 5TS.
Since the expansion of Sherrards Hair Salon residents on Beech Road have seen an increase parking and congestion on the road. This is creating a lack of parking for residents and impacting on our ability to park near our address.

The petition has been created to capture the majority of votes from residents who wish for this to be enforced.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about local roads are a matter for your local authority, not the UK Government or Parliament.

You could raise your issue with a local councillor who represents you. You can find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them, by entering your post code here: https://www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
