What the petition asks
Ring-Style Frisbees are harming our marine wildlife. The recent entanglement of WINGS the seal in Cornwall. These need to be stopped being sold by retailers. They are increasingly becoming serious issue across the country for seals that become entangled in them can lead to a prolonged painful death.
Ring-Style Frisbees, if thrown into the sea, can get embedded into seals necks and cause, I should imagine, a lot of pain or death.
Seals are inquisitive mammals and if they find a ring floating on the surface of the sea or ocean may become entangled. If not rescued and the ring removed it could ultimately lead to a prolonged and painful death. These ringed frisbees need to be stopped being sold by retailers and purchased by customers who use and lose them in the sea.
