What the petition asks
We would like the British government to publically and formally condemn the current Pakistani Regime (civil and military) for abusing the basic human rights of ordinary Pakistani citizens including freedom of expression and the right to peacefully protest.
Due to the current regime's curtailment of basic democratic human rights such as freedom of expression of journalists, lawyers, human rights groups etc and the right to peacefully protest especially the illegal imprisonment and physical and mental abuse and torture of the activists of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf, denying them due process of law.
We ask the UK government to formally register their protest against this.
