Make it a legal requirement for job adverts to display the salary of the role

What the petition asks
Make it a legal requirement that employers and recruiters have to display the salary offered for a role on job adverts.
Searching for a new job can be a time consuming effort and job hunters can waste several hours applying for a job only to find that the salary is significantly lower than expected. It may also help reduce the gender pay gap by having transparency of pay scales from the outset.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition which calls for the same action: Make it a legal requirement for salaries to be included in all job adverts
