Suspend UK membership of CPTPP pending a free and fair UK public vote
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
When we first joined the EC, a public vote had to be held and passed with a 50% vote in favour of membership. It is only right and fair that UK membership of the CPTPP is suspended pending satisfaction of the same democratic procedure.
Because when we joined the EU, a public vote had to be held and won, so it is only fair and correct that the same procedure happens with UK CPTPP membership.
