Fair pay for teachers in Northern Ireland to match their colleagues in England.

We, the concerned citizens of Northern Ireland, call upon the UK government to address the unjust treatment of teachers in our region. It is unacceptable that while teachers in England have received pay increases of 5% last year and 6.5% this year, Teachers in Northern Ireland have received nothing.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about pay for teachers in Northern Ireland are a matter for the devolved institutions, not the UK Government or Parliament.
