Increase funding for Mental Health Crisis services

What the petition asks
We want the Government to urgently increase funding for Mental Health Crisis services. It cannot wait. People are dying.
1 in 5 people have suicidal thoughts
1 in 14 people self-harm
1 in 15 people attempt suicide
[Source: NHS Digital survey, 2014]
As a young professional who has considered myself privileged I have had two near miss avoidable suicide attempts. If it wasn't for private healthcare and a supportive employer I would not have been able to navigate the failing service across the NHS.
I have experienced first hand the inconsistency and lack of support from front line crisis services, as well as being admitted to a private mental health hospital funded by the NHS, which I believe was totally inadequate.
