What the petition asks

We want the government to change the decision that was taken suddenly without any prior notice on 17th July 2023, that, no students can change their visa status without completing their study.

We Don't have any issues with the decision that was taken by the government. It’s just the government declared before that this rule will be applied from January 2024. Keeping that in mind many students were taking life changing dicisions which got hampered because of this sudden change of rules regarding the visa switch.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
