Provide Statutory Parental Pay to both Parents

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

Both parents should be provided with the opportunity to take parental leave (maternity or paternity) and receive payment without impacting each other.
Less females in top positions - often due to career gap for maternity and subsequent reduction in hours for ongoing support
Dads/ second parent are not provided opportunity to have paid time off with little one without impacting mums time/ pay
Wealth of evidence that children benefit from a two person household
