For all Funeral Directors vehicles to be exempt from additional road charges

What the petition asks

We would like all vehicles engaged in the funeral profession to be exempt from additional road charges, like The Congestion Charge in London, The Ultra Low Emission Zone in London, The Low Emissions zone in all other areas of the country

We would like the Government and Parliament to stop these additional charges being out in place across the country, its another stealth tax. These charges will have to added to a families invoice, thus making funerals more expensive. A funeral is a very traumatic time for a family, without the added expense of these zones.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about what vehicles are exempt from road user charges are a matter for the local authority imposing these charges, not the UK Government or Parliament.
