What the petition asks
The use and carrying of catapults and slingshots in public places especially parks and town centers needs to be made illegal.
We have had a local issue for years & this is now a serious national issue. Children & adults are carrying catapults/ slingshots as weapons on a daily basis. Parks & High Streets are the main targets. Animals are being shot, maimed & killed for fun & left to die slow painful deaths. Adults are threatened with being shot on a regular basis & sometimes actually shot. Councils do nothing to stop this. Police are constantly being called out to the same people over & over again. It has to stop!
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
