Review the powers and responsibility of landlords to prevent drink driving

What the petition asks
I want the Government to conduct a review of the powers of and responsibilities of landlords, with the aim to prevent drink driving where possible.
My 19-year-old daughter was heartbreakingly killed in November by a drunk driver, and I believe change is needed to prevent similar tragedies.
It is already an offence to knowingly serve alcohol to a drunk person, or to obtain alcohol for a drunk person on a licensed premises. A review should investigate how often landlords are charged for the above offences, and how often reviews of premises licences take place. It should also consider new powers that should be given to landlords under the law to prevent customers from drink driving, such as confiscating their car keys. This could help prevent drink driving, and the tragic consequences this can have.
