Paint all ULEZ, LEZ and CAZ cameras and poles bright Orange
Rejected

What the petition asks
I would like to see all ULEZ, LEZ and CAZ cameras, poles and feeder pillars to be painted bright orange, I would like this done for 3 reasons, number 1 being that they are easier for drivers to see, 2 easier for visually impaired people to see and 3 so that are distinguished from speed cameras
The current ULEZ cameras and poles are black making them hard to see when driving and walking especially for visually impaired pedestrians, some of the equipment has been poorly placed in the middle of pavements and footpaths risking a person falling over them, walking into them, cycling into them or in some cases accidentally driving into them
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions about the placement and appearance of ULEZ, LEZ and CAZ cameras are a matter for the individual local authority administering the schemes and not a decision for the UK Government or Parliament.
