Subsidise the cost of private prescriptions

What the petition asks
We all know that the NHS it is struggling. It is difficult for many to access NHS care, and many have sought private treatment as a result. We believe it is not fair for private patients to pay more for medication, and want the Government to subsidise the cost of private prescriptions.
There are significant delays to NHS services, including ADHD assessments, surgeries, and mental health care. This has caused many people to seek private healthcare, who then face the additional costs of paying the full cost of prescriptions.
Given the difficulties many experience accessing NHS care, we want the Government to subsidise the cost of private prescriptions, so these don't cost patients more than the NHS prescription charge.
