Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop the leakage of chemicals into our water systems
We need as may MLA's as possible in Northern Ireland to stop all our rivers , loughs and canals be totally destroyed by chemicals being released. Pollution is killing fish , ducks swans and small fry which would be next yeays fish

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Environmental policy in Northern Ireland is a devolved matter, so the UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for Lough Neagh.

If you want to raise this issue you could contact your MLA, or raise it with the relevant Northern Ireland department.
