Make it illegal to take photos or videos of other people without permission

What the petition asks
Police officers should give people who do this a warning and then a fine if they do it again. The Government should publicise this so that people hear first hand that it’s a new law in the UK
Because I have had it done to me several times and I don’t like it, it makes me feel extremely uncomfortable and I’m sure it does others too.
I hate people taking photos or videos of my face without asking when others are clearly taking the Micky or just being strange when they do this.
Why isn’t this a crime or illegal at least? When you do a college course you have to sign a document saying it’s ok for your teachers and the college to take and post videos or photos on their phone or camera.
