Require Local Authorities to give 28 days to pay road charging fines

What the petition asks
I call for the Government to introduce requirements ensuring members of the public have a minimum of at least 28 days to pay any penalty/road use charge before additional charges are incurred for non or late payment.
With the huge number of poorly sign posted and ill notified charging schemes now in place, there is a great risk of unfair additional penalties being imposed for legitimate mistakes.
This is particularly for those who will be affected by the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), which affects some of the least wealthy among us.
