Petition · past parliament
Allow outer London boroughs to vote for the London Mayor.

What the petition asks
The Mayor of London has imposed the ULEZ expansion across outer London boroughs. If the Mayor is going to do such things like this it is only right that the people of these boroughs have the right to vote.
The people of outer London boroughs have been heavily effected financially and mentally. Because they are not allowed to vote they have nowhere to make a difference. It should be their right as people living in these boroughs have their voice and vote listened to.
Why it was rejected
The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
Anyone who is registered to vote and resident at an address in Greater London is eligible to vote in elections for the London Mayor. This includes residents of outer London boroughs.
